Friendly reminder; all who are bringing meat to grill at the beach, please remember to marinade the meat as it not only adds flavor, but also helps preserve the food from spoilage as it sits in your bag for several hours before it is prepared. Don't want any food poisoning, so if you are not familiar with how to marinate, here are some pointers: use your favorite sauce (terriyaki, black bean, etc.), note that if you use soy sauce DO NOT add any more salt. Add a bit of red wine if possible as it helps bring out flavor, but more importantly it's alcohol content serves as a natural preservative. Season as required, and add some onions, garlic, or any other things you like (such as a bit of lemon juice), taste the marinate before you add the meat so that it is to your liking, and let the meat sit in the marinate for at least several hours to let it soak in the refrigerator.
